Can we share our love of sailing with you?
The Lake Beulah Sailing School, Inc. (LBSS) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization providing sailing education since 1972. Programs are presented at the Lake Beulah Yacht Club, located at N9220 East Shore Drive in East Troy in southeastern Wisconsin. Programs are designed to provide students with an appreciation of the pleasures of sailing as both a leisure-time and competitive activity; to develop a high degree of competence in the handling and maintenance of equipment; and to teach the importance of sportsmanship, team play, and respect for property. Lessons are offered at various levels from novice to experienced for children and young adults ages 6 to 70.
We’re very excited about our LBSS instructor group. We’ve got a stellar cast of coaches.
Meet the Instructors / Coaches of the Lake Beulah Sailing School:
Ashley Mueller - Program Director. Ashley is in her fourth year of coaching with LBSS. This summer, she will handle more administrative functions for the program including the publishing of a weekly newsletter to assist with parent communications. Having completed strong campaigns in X boat and Optimists, she sails Radials singlehandedly, a C scow with her father as her crew, and an M15 is also in her future. “Hi my name is Ashley Mueller. I have been sailing on Lake Beulah since I was six years old. I sailed Optis for ten years, X-boats for two years, occasionally crewed on MC and C scows. This is my fifth year sailing Lasers. I have sailed in many different Inland regattas in the Midwest. In my last three years of sailing Optis, I joined the Buddy Melges Racing Team at Lake Geneva and traveled to several different regattas across the country. These regattas gave me the chance to sail against some of the top sailors in the world and become a better sailor. I am looking forward to sharing my love of the sport with our young generation of Lake Beulah sailors.”
