32nd annual Lake Beulah Sailing School Optimist Dinghy Regatta - June 24, 2024

32nd Annual LBSS Opti Regatta - On Monday, June 24, 2024 the Lake Beulah Sailing School will host the LBSS Optimist Dinghy Regatta for RWB and Green Fleet sailors. This one day event is an early opportunity for Opti sailors to regain their sailing legs.

32st Annual LBSS Opti Regatta - On Monday, June 24, 2024 the LBSS Optimist Dinghy Regatta was held for RWB and Green Fleet sailors. This was a great event for both experienced and green sailors to prepare for a summer of sailing fun. Sailors were greeted by challenging breezes in this early summer event.

The RC completed three RWB races in under challenging conditions and the Green Fleet accomplished 4. Mason Keane repeated as champion, beating Nick Berkowitz by three points for the over-all championship as well as the Red Fleet crown. Mason’s score line was a strong 1, 1, and 2. Mathias Urban from LGYC took third overall and the Blue Fleet title, while Spencer Han, also from LGYC took 15th overall and the White fleet. 57 Red White and Blue sailors competed. Results here.

In the Green Fleet, Fred Skotarzak took one race and the tie-breaker with Liam Kelley from Cedar for the Green fleet title. Forthy sailors competed in the Green Fleet. Results here.

X Boat Training Regatta At Pine - "TRAP" - June 18 - 20

2024 - Mason Keene and Cameron Brickler of LBSS have won the TRAP Junior Fleet title.

Prior Year Results: Congratulations to B - 125 regarding their first place finish in the Junior Fleet. Five (5) LBSS Junior Fleeters finished in the Top Eleven. Three (3) Senior Fleeters finished in the Top Ten. Results here.

2024 LBSS Fund Raiser will be a Sit Down dinner held on Saturday, june 29.

The Lake Beulah Sailing School Board hosted the 2024 LBSS Fund Raiser on Saturday, June 29th.
This was a fun night of dining and comradery to support our Sailing School. It’s the only fundraiser held each year to support our Sailing School, (a 501c3 organization). Through the generous support of our yacht club membership and sailing school families we are able to oﬀer our youth and adult sailors an excellent, aﬀordable sailing program.
A fabulous dinner was prepared by Toothpicks Catering. Lucky players competed in the Head or Tails competition, the Horse Race and Trivia. Later, a silent and live auction rounded out the evening.

Quad Lakes Regatta - cedar lake yacht club - X Class - July 1 - 2

The 2024 Quad Lakes Regatta was held on the waters of Cedar Lake here in Wisconsin. This is a notoriously challenging lake on which to compete due to its shifty winds. After the first day, Beulah’s Mason Keene and Cameron Brickler had the lead with a 2, 2, 1 score line. They held on to win the Quad Lakes Championship.
